Filing of DIR-3 KYC
DIR-3 KYC refers to the process of updating the personal and professional details of Directors of companies in India with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) through an online system. It is mandatory for all Directors who have been allotted a Director Identification Number (DIN) to file the DIR-3 KYC form with the MCA annually.

The DIR-3 KYC form requires the Director to provide information such as their name, PAN (Permanent Account Number), Aadhaar number, personal and professional contact details, and details of any other DINs they may have.
The purpose of DIR-3 KYC is to ensure that the MCA has up-to-date information about the Directors of companies in India. This helps to prevent fraudulent activities and maintain transparency in corporate governance. Non-filing of the DIR-3 KYC form can result in the deactivation of the DIN of the Director.
The DIR-3 KYC form can be filed online through the MCA portal by logging in with the Director’s credentials. The due date for filing the DIR-3 KYC form is usually 30th September of each year, and a fee may be charged for late filing.
